Sony 55" led that has horrible pixelation/ghosting/gray screen throughout. My first though was tcon failure, but all voltages at the tcon are correct. The screen is not constant grey/white it seems to be moving like a wave effect across the screen very slow. Any help appreciated.

I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the... -

Afrer a coupe of minutes (10-30) i got black screen, no image. But i have sound.
is this a common problem for this tv?

Hello all. 3 years back, with your help, I replaced the LEDs on this TV. It's been working great. Yesterday, I turned it on (garage TV), and it has blurred horiz / vert lines as you see in photos. Definitely no physical hit or damage. Top 1/6th of the screen is perfect. Could it be main / TCON board? No tabs to cut on this model. Thank you...
