I've had this issue with this TV since December and it's driving me insane at this point. At first there was a big/wide vertical stripe that was overlayed on top of the image. Then a few days later, the TV stopped showing any picture at all. It even looks like it's not responding to button commands but I have no way of verifying that. Now the only thing the TV shows are the vertical stripes pictured in the images below.
At first I suspected the timing board so I ordered a new one - no dice. I tried cleaning the ribbons but to no avail either, so I bought new ones for the timing board. When that didn't work I thought "screw it" and sprung for a new main board that came with its own timing board and ribbons. None of these things worked and the TV is still in the vegetative state shown. I feel like I've tried everything short of replacing the power board which I think has nothing to do with this, right?
Does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks so much in advance.
