Problem updating Samsung PN51D550C1F with USB

I try and update to the latest firmware and it says there is no file found to update. I also cannot download anything online either. I took a pic of the screen which shows the latest version. Is this the latest version? If not, why won't it let me update.

yes. I just read something in the file on my USB, it says 1018, my tv says 1019 so must be the newest one then??

What you say sound correct but it's just a bit odd that Samsung would leave an older update on their site.

I was told that the new firmware will prevent the XSUS board from shorting out again. Something about over voltage on the panel and the new firmware fixes this problem.

So you lost a XSUS board and someone indicated that there is a software fix to potentially stop that? How old is the TV? Has it ever been updated? From my limited Samsung experience, "versioning" on their sets isn't "obvious" sometimes and sets may ship with different versions than what appears on their site for what ever reason. I wouldn't load a different version into your unless you are having an obvious problem.
