Please help lg plasma 60pz550 ua no picture or sound after changing mainboard

Hello,
Brand new here so I hope I am following rules correctly.
I am hoping the experts here can help me with my problem.
Below is what happened today.

• My TV is a LG 60 inch plasma 2012
• Model LG 60PZ550-UA
• One month ago all my HDMI inputs quit.
• Video input still worked so I used that.
• I ordered a new main board part #LG EBT61533403 Main Board for 60PZ550-UA
• Today I replaced the old main board with the new one and there is no picture or sound.
• I switched back the old board that I know still worked with video and there is also no picture or sound?

So now the tv does not work at all!
I was very careful everything seemed pretty easy but now the TV does not have picture or sound????
Has anyone ever had this happen or have any idea of what may have happened?
I really appreciate any input as I am at a loss here. I just hope I did not ruin my tv.

It would appear as though perhaps one or more connectors are not seated properly since what is common to both boards would be the re-connections.

Can you provide photo's?

I am not sure if your model has the AUTO GEN feature on the Control Board, but you could check if by shorting it and removing the LVDS cable would show anything. This way you could see if the problem is with the Main Board or not.

LVDS is the one that connects the Main Board to the Control Board.

the common mistake by check or replace boards by LG,many things can happen if they don't drain the PSU totally by shorting the main caps at HOT area.

LG always wrote this as warring at their service manual and its TRUE. as there no drain circuit built at the PSU , they use this to insure fast boot up... hope this not gone of the post owner.
