    vestal 17pw26-4 fault

    any help would be much appreciated i have this 17pw26-4 fault it takes 3 to 5 mins to come one from being plugged in and the works fine but if placed on stand by it will not come out of it until it is unplugged and then replugged in i have removed and tested all caps they are fine i have also removed the diodes and they are fine are they boards all the same or do i have to replace with excatly the same from the same set thanks in advance

    warm the psu with a hair dryer - then plug it in.

      done that no matter which part i warm it takes the same amount of time to come on when placed in stand by even if warmed up it wont come out of it unless i unplug and replug

        What is the make and model number of the tv what mainboard does it use.

          Have you checked the power supply voltages to see if one of them is taking a while to come up to full voltage?
