I believe I have the same issue with Changhong LED50YC2000UA. The panel suddenly went blank, unpowered black. Turning the TV off shows the red standby LED. Turning on again causes the panel to temporarily power up (powered black screen) and immediately go to unpowered black with the standby light blinking 8 times. I removed the rear panel and looked at the boards, but was unable to identify what user Aleph says as "any carbon on a part".

You must have bought your TV from NewEgg on nearly the same day that I did because mine went out within a few days off yours.
I opened mine up and saw a smudge of spot on the tconn board. One of the things you'll appreciate about Chinese market TVs is that they're alot easier to get into than their American market counterparts. If you see any carbon on a part, just match the model number and replace it. It worked for me and cost $12... As a bonus my insurer had written the TV off and replaced it.
I ordered my board off of Ali Express... It is not the exact same board as one the one that came with the TV but is about 98% similar and it works.
I hope you haven't tossed it yet. That TV is all plug and play on the inside and you can find everything you need on the cheap.Leave a comment:

You will not get much help without uploading good clear pictures of the whole back side of the TV showing all the boards and pictures of each board. We do not have the TV in front of us to see what we are dealing with.Leave a comment:

Did you figure out what was wrong? I have the same TV, also a bit over 1 year old and am having the same problem.
Not sure if it's an easy fix or if I should toss it.

Hi all, I have a 1 year old 49" Changhong off brand LED TV (LED49YD1100UA), when I went to turn it on the other day the power light gives 8 blinks and stops, it doesn't power on, not sure how to troubleshoot this but I am sure the 8 blinks is a code for a specific error. I've looked all over and it is difficult to find info online for this TV. Just wondering, has anyone run across this issue on one of these TV's per chance that could give me a rough idea of what this issue is? I'd hate to throw it away as I currently have it all apart and looking it over none of the caps look bad, it was purchased late 2014 for my wife and I as a thank you gift for some work I did for a friend.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅
I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.
Model number is TH-50PZ85U
Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.
Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.
I also hear a few clicks.
I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

hello, �� i have been sitting on some microsoft surface pro 4 tablets for a while now. i was originally tasked with replacing the battery in one of the tablets, and ended breaking the screen and logic board in the process. decided to buy another tablet with the same specs. got that screen off successfully of the second tablet. the logic board appeared good, but i guess i shorted something out in the installation process of the logic which i've read is a common issue if there is no barrier between the logic board and battery pins. all that said, i ate costs of the repair and have... -
Hi there,
I've got a 39" LG 39LN540V that's just spontaneously stopped working! The symptoms are - when I plug it in, the red light will flash on twice, then go out, there's no visible picture, and I couldn't see anything using a torch on the panel either. If I press the power button (either remote or on TV), the red light comes on continuously. If I press power again, the red light flashes twice.
The TV is using a power board EAX64905301. I've attached a diagram of the power output, I've tested the voltages with a multimeter and I'm getting the following:

This seems to point out to D board issue
My first question is which one is the D board?
The main board?
Or one of the power boards?
Are they labeled with this? (did not checked the boards yet)
