I would just put a new board in, chances are it won't be right first time and it'll pop half of those bits anyway.

Yep probably best just too much to do and I really can not be bothered to change all that. Or other alternative see if that S10B I have see if the panel works with the mainboard out of the U20B worth a shot.

ohms do a kit with nearly all the parts in not sure if it will work out any cheaper though as you would still have too buy the missing items

ohmsupplies kit doesn't contain all the usual suspects--Basically its only Half a kit....

Reecey--IF you buy a complete new board--fancy selling the old/faulty one...?

Yeah if you want Ali, one thing to note it stinks of weed lol not because of me but because of orginal owners. Also something else very interesting is the Vs Us plug has a burn mark around it like it got hot or arced over but I will clean it up before I send it mate, removing all solder, thermal paste , dust and will put Igbt screws back on.

You can have it in the next week if you want as long as you cover postage ?

                  AH.....Brilliant!!!

Another pointer to CONFIRMATION of my theory!!

A Burned Plug/socket!! DONT clean it up--would like to see it as it is!

I blew up a fully rebuilt and working TNPA5066--Because I just TOUCHED that lead from PSU to the TNPA.....

Now You have one with a burned plug--And its blown up.....(Even if it Does stink of weed!)

On these now--I pull the plastic off the plug part, fit the connectors onto TNPA pins--And Solder the suckers in place!

I'll probably rebuild it. I'm quite enjoying the extra challenge of these boards, and always good to have one in stock....

More interesting than just changing bloody caps all day long!

That's the SCAN OUT resistor, I reckon your buffers are shorted as that can pretty much only happen if the HO (VSCAN) to VFG path gets shorted.

Yeah, will check the buffers over when I next look at this. Unsure how it failed like this must have gotten very hot but the Tv shuts down instantly so unsure. Would like to know what caused this total meltdown its crazy so many blown parts Tom ! You would sure have some fun diagnosing this, but I have agreed for Ali to have it.
