    TNPA5105 Meltdown Parts Needed !

Anyone have the schematic I cant find it on google ??

My board is a bit more complex, following parts some are not included in repair kits are dead:

    Q451
    D482
    Q422
    Q421
    D402
    D401
    Q402
    Q401
    D422
    Q660
    Q661
    IC521
    R421
    R422
    R551
    R506

If any one has the PN or schematic to help me find what parts I need I will be very grateful.

    Ha!

Join the 5105 Club! Ive got one to do as well a 5081!

Funny thing was--I was looking to order some more of those dual-transistor pairs, but RS website being uncooperative--wont show me my last order..

Guess I'll have to wait till I get to work tomorrow I'll list the RS part-numbers of all the ants needed....

Off top of my head--Need to be changed--Or at least severely tested first before firing the rebuilt board up--

      Q701 SMD Transistor
      Q702, SMD Transistor
      D702 SOD-323, 85V 150mA fast diode
      IC773 Inverter, 5 legged ant
      Q818 TINY MOSFET
      IC771 5V reg
--All the above, best just change on sight.

PC461 Transoptor--This part caused my rebuilt 5105 to blow up again--Got some on order from China...
IC521 Mitsi chip normally kacks it.
      IC501 Mitsi chip sometimes survives

--Plus Any--All the 5 legged ants that Drive the shorted IGBT's--The Dual-Transistor pairs....

This is a nightmare, not even got the parts together yet and its £38.78 in total so far and thats for the cheapest I could find ! Might see if I can mod the Sustain boards from a Tx-P42S10B which has an unfixable motherboard into this panel which is a TX-P42U20B the PDP's are 1 gen different from each other, what do you think ?

Not like I have not got the money just seems alot for a 42" IMO but we shall see.

Re: TNPA5105 Meltdown Parts Needed !

All the tiny SMD stuff is pennies from RS. The more expensive parts are the Mitsi chips IC501/21, and the heatsink stuff, they are cheap from China--But you wait for 'em....

The Transoptor (opto) is difficult to get, none on fleagay or usual parts suppliers here. IF you can wait a week or two--I'll send you a couple--But DONT fire up the board without replacing/testing that part--I did and regretted it....
Available from China too--UT has 'em

Worth reading through my recent post on 5066 (sorta similar, but integral buffers) Much the same stuff kacks it on that board too.

More reading is the TNPA5081 thread by TW2005, There's most similarity to 5105 as its a cut down 5081 basically...

Tell you what--Ive got all the small stuff, I can send you the usual suspects like Q701 etc, but I'm short on D702, the Mitzi chips, and transoptor...

--All you would need then is the heatsink stuff..

Doubt the conversion to earlier SC would take--Holes for mounting are the first thought--And you know what Pans are like for earths....

somewhat ambitious I would expect. it would be the whole sc,sd,su just so the boards line up, then the panel mounts won't match.

d401,402 are panasonic diodes F50ALW or DA3DF50ACSLW. these have been discussed recently spec wise in the 510V 20A fast rectifiers. never had to replace any of these so far.

                          d422 B0FACP000005, RFUS20T4S and that's in the 430V 20A range

It should be the same diode as D482

I assume you've puled the IGBTs and confirmed all these diodes are still bad? Seems unusual all these are shorted. D482 is a common one to fail.

                          Both are single diode configuration

for schematics you just need any manual that has a TNPA5105 for a 42". But they may help with fault finding but little to no good for the bits. It took me weeks to nut most of these out on the 5081 board when I first started trying component on these.

Unless it is a panasonic part it will be a meaningless code not OEM but I have stumbled on a couple of engineering drawings which had some real numbers. It was just one huge jigsaw i spent endless hours digging.

So that would be manuals for anything like S2,S20, U2 or U20 variants in any market. Will find on Elektrotanya or even here searching models

                          TC-P42S2,
                          TC-P42U2,
                          TX-P42S20E
                          TX-P42S20ES
                          TX-P42S20L

                          TX-PR42S20

Its unlikely--As TW says--That All the diodes are duff on the heatsinks. Many are in parallel with the dead IGBT's

Is this an urgent repair--Or can you sit on it a week or two?

yeah, sucks, Funny how you get sucked in expecting SC. Of the last 6 I've touched, 1 Sc, 2 x Su, 3 x A(eeprom, shorted SD slot and a burial)

                                      Well--Guess I got 'Lucky' then!

Out of five sets--Only one Mainboard on the nice little 37". Rest have been SC/SN and SS on 42" and 50"

This 50" with the dead TNPA5105 Ive decided to have a first-stage check of it has 8 heatsink parts dead.

                                      Q661--Innit ALWAYS!
                                      Q660--Unusual
                                      Q401
                                      Q402
                                      Q421
                                      Q422
                                      Q451
                                      D482

The Gate Resistors to the above would be replaced anyway one or two don't look too good, but in addition I would be looking at--

                                      Q501
                                      IC501--Possibly
The tiny diodes and transistors associated with Q660

                                      D451
                                      Q521
                                      Q551
                                      IC521--Definitely

                                      Then the dead-ants--
                                      Q701
                                      Q702
                                      D702
                                      D701--IF Fitted.
                                      Q818
                                      IC771
                                      IC773

After dead ants above evicted, we check the resistance of the IC771 from Output to deck (Of IC771 pad on board) after its removal--
One way should climb quickly to 100K Other way will climb slowly to 1M.

--This will check the Transoptor, PC461--although ANY doubt of this part it'll need replacement, as its the only semi-device left on that 5V rail

The TV is a Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01. I replaced the power source board and the TV is now working, but I decided to try and troubleshoot the old board to fix at the component level. Trying to get a schematic and a parts list has proven to be an issue. Trying on my own, I can't tell you how many times my Norton security has flagged sites as "malicious". I ordered a service manual from ServiceManuals.net, paid $16.99 and got 66 pages of everything BUT schematics and component parts list! Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Some of the surface mounted component parts...

I need to find this USB3 port off a Dell Inspiron 3463 AIO motherboard that was damaged. There's a number on the top of it: "DR17264", which crossed with nothing. I struck out with digikey and mouser and even ebay....perhaps I'm not using the correct search terms....but this is annoying!! Parts hunting apparently is indeed an art!!

So here it is, find me one!!

The board is ready & waiting for a new one....no I didn't scorch the board, that's just flux paste....the holes are clear and ready.

                                          by SurrealMustard
I recently found myself the proud owner of a later-model Samsung plasma (the PN59D7000 for those keeping score at home) whose panel was, unfortunately, damaged in transport. I'm now preparing to part it out, but am curious as to whether or not any damage would have come to any of the components by attempting to power it up with the panel being broken. I read in one Avsforum thread (for whatever that's worth 😂) that the "scan driver boards" (by which I assume he means buffer boards) could be impacted by doing so. Is that actually the case? If so, since I don't intend on selling bad...

                                          Hi,

I have an Asus Rog Strix B360-I Gaming with missing parts. I know there is a resistor missing for sure, but nearby it seems there might have been also a transistor or mosfet. Below the picture of the area on the board with the missing parts. The interesting area is inside the rectangle.

I'd appeciate if somebody could make a detailled picture of this area from a working board and post it here. Getting the parts values would also be helpful. The revision of the board is 1.02 .

                                          Thanks in advance...

Hey, I find it very absurd that the SVOD4 costs so much and has zero documentation. I had no other choice than to buy it to unlock ECs, if there was any documentation or firmware avalible I could've made it or something simmilar. Anyways here are some of the most important parts:

STM32H723VGT6 MCU - It's a microcontroller by STMicroelectronics and its the whole brain of the SVOD4. It has flash memory for the firmware which can be updated by the SVOD4 program. Its also powered by the AMS117 which converts 5v into 3.3V. 7€ on AliExpress.
