    Samsung model LN52A750R1FXZA Power cycling

Has anyone seen and fixed this problem on a Samsung LN52A750R1FXZA? I have come across two different issues with these TV's on these boards. One was the capacitor issue with the bulging capacitors. I have replaced the capacitors with no luck and the problem persist. The TV will go into a constant loop of powering off and powering on. Only way to stop it, is to unplug the power.

I also came across this thread,
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=32061, which discusses the same issue on many Samsung TV's about the same age. All were fixed by changing out the c102 Tantalum Capacitor. Thought that I found my fix for sure; however, my main board is slightly different and doesn't have that capacitor.

I have posted two different pics (front and back of my board). Anyone have any ideas with this specific model?

    Thanks,

    Bobby

Try heating those NEC-TOKIN caps (those are the same type of failed cap as used for C102).

I heated the chips as recommended. This worked for about 4 days. The TV started cycling again over the weekend. I think I will start replacing these and see if I can make the fix more permanent.

I'm beginning to have issues with this same model not powering up and when it does I sometimes get a screeching sound accompanied with a distorted green image. Going to begin to look into it this weekend.

yes please continue to update this thread and let us know if any bad caps are found on the main board...

I have a ln46a650 that also does not have C102, but occasionally power cycles (accompanied by a glitchy image during the power cycles)

SAMSUNG BN94-01658E C102 location number is under IC101 if you are looking for that first, good luck.

The kit from ShopJimmy is a ceramic replacement cap with no polarity which can be installed in either direction.

Shopjimmy offers no support at all!

                IC1203 - STA335BWS (SSOP-36) I could only find this on Ebay!
                IC101 - (MP2363DN) Digi-key P/N 1589-1366-ND
                C102 - 47uF 10V Tantalum Capacitor Digi-key P/N P16230CT-ND

I used an iron to mount C102 after I mounted IC101 due to size, worked nice for me!

                Hope this will help someone!
