    PS42Q96HD AV board

I had an issue with the Q96 where the screen was cracked and was no longer working, I asked on here If I could swap out the screen from the Q97 and was told it was possible but would be quicker to take the PSU from the Q96 and replace it with the one in the Q97, And it worked as the Q97 had the clicking problem.

Now I have a new Issue where the AV board no longer gets a signal for the DTV. Now I still have the Q96 around could I just pull the AV board from that and swap it over as a quick fix or is there anyway I could fix the Q97 board. I have done some searching and only found a few posts about an IC chip that could of died when the PSU failed. How true it is I have know idea.

    Any help would be great.

    Cheers Will.

As far as I recall (and done a couple lately) the Q96 and Q97 are very similar and apart from the Control-Board, most stuff will interchange....
--Just watch the rear cover hole placement for variations in socket arrangements, but the board should work fine.
