    what is this component?

what is this component i took it off of a power supply on a sharp tv LC-37SB24U i downloaded the service manual but it doesnt have a component list and i am not getting any voltage to the big filter capacitor this seems to be on the primary side of transformer and i am getting 150vdc from the bridge rectifier

this component does not have any resistance at all but has bands like a resistor but it is clear it is labled c7102

it is labeld c7102 as all the other capacitors on the board are and the only capacitor codes i can find are for 4 band capacitors not 3 so how would i go about finding a replacment

That is GA7101 Gas discharge surge protection, the circuit does not need it to operate. C7102 is the small blue disk cap next to it.
What DCV are you not getting at the connectors in the cold side of the circuit? Please up load good clear pictures of the whole board top side and the bottom side.

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
          • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
          • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

2+ year old TV with many (720? 65" version has 720) mini LED dimming zones. TV boots, has sound, panel picture can be seen with flashlight. No backlight. No TV model sticker on rear panel (Maybe Samsung service removed it, read below). Found the model # through the PSU and zoned LED driver board numbers.

PSU has a click near LED output circuit at 1 second interval, sounded like the 4x barrier rectifier area. Protective pastic liner under PSU shows heat signature on the Schottky Barrier Rectifier in this circuit. Found a shorted diode (2 diode per rectifier, failed rectifier labled...

          Failure Symptom

No picture, just red vertical stripes. Google search shows quite common problem for these recent Vizio M series although red vertical stripe pattern may differ. Some call it "Netflix" boot screen haha.

          Where is the short?

Panel has 4x buffer boards. Quickly found the 1/4 panel buffer board with the problem by selectively disconnecting buffer board flex cables.

Having recently fixed another Vizio with similar symptoms that was a shorted ESD diode array ( link ) Probed the ESD diode array but...

Hello everyone, i would like to request your help to identify one IC.
          It has only labled:

          85XT
          SAYA

I want to know if theres a datasheet of it or there's any compatible model of ic part that could replace him and fit.

          Thanks in advance...

Roland SPA-120 Amplifier Tech Notes / SM / Schematic Source?
          by KeyResults
Repairing a Roland SPA-120 amplifier, a solid-state early-mid 80's part of the Roland Rack. The PCB is Labled AP-124B. Was thinking lytics would resolve the nasty output on scope but all tested 100% for values, ESR, and leakage (very surprised!). Symptom is nasty wave form on both channels in Stereo mode, but clean in single channel mono (BTL) mode. The Output transistors test ok at room temp, but still could be faulty once heated up. Anyway, a schematic and some test point voltages would sure save some time. Thx!
