Panasonic TH-42PZ80UA Menu works, but no inputs

Hello.

I was given a Panasonic TH-42PZ80UA that seems to have a bad main board. the menu/setup works perfectly, but none of the inputs on the main board work. I seem to recall seeing this a few years ago, but no thread here describing this issue. I assume this has to be a defective main board, but just wanted to verify my assumption.

Tv is not on hotel mode? When the tv is on , press and hol volume down on the side of the tv and at the same time press "AV" on remote 3 times.
