Yes normally clockwise. You will be able to tell anyway if you turn it too low the panel self destructs and cracks with sparks....

Haha just kidding no if you turn it too low the image will go dark and pixelated (pixels cant discharge properly due to not getting enough power) if you turn it too high you will get lots of red, green and blue dots on the screen which is the pixels over discharging.

This is completely false, running Vs at 220-225V (typically the maximum for these PSUs) will cause damage after some time to the plasma panel, and will increase the power dissipation in the sustain board. The damage to the panel will cause maldischarge or in serious cases may even cause the panel to crack spontaneously.

I would not advise going above 215V.

Generally with the Vs voltage--If the panel doesnt show Any maladies, I tend to set the Vs 2-3V on the low side.

Reasoning being,--just a little less strain on Y-SUS and --who knows, maybe even panel life increase

The D and E series though--seems to Need the full panel sticker value or maybe a little more--depending on condition.
--I dont like these sets much Poor panels and flimsy construction leading to easy crackage.....

Old Q97 can often go 5V below sticker and still be fine--Even at the age they are, Built like a brick crapper!
            TELEFIX

How PLASMA SCREENS WORK, X-SUS and Y-SUS what they do--

So am I correct at thinking, that I'm able to swap the e series boards, into my d series?
Im offered the E model at £20 due to smashed screen, they assured me that it was bought Decemeber 2012 and smashed in the Febuary of 2013 which is realy low milage for the age lol.

                    Hello everyone,

I am struggling with an issue on my LG TV, as mentioned in the title - please see the attached photos.

The display / panel has been replaced in March 2023, under warranty - right before expiring after 2 years of use - due to a bunch of dead pixels.
Then in a few months the purple / pink line started showing up, however the LG service said that this is not covered by any warranty, anymore, since the original one has expired.

Recently I have just asked a repair firm to have a look and they have said that the panel needs to be replaced,...

                    LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
                    by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

                    Then each time...

                    Hello all ~

I picked up this 60" LG the other day and it has the following signs / issues:

                    1) Displaying a primarily pink and green screen that alters its look on occasion and particularly can change if the set is turned on and off (see picture set below).

NOTE: All of the pictures uploaded upside down, and I could not correct it. So, please view them as such. You can see the base stand at the top of the photos.

Pic #1 ~ How it looked when I first picked it up.
Pic #2 ~ The first time it changed shape, of its own accord, after...
