    Lg 42lf65

ok, have this tv in for repair, came in with fault of losing picture, still has sound, and still the back lights stay on, now i would say T-CON, but opened it up and found 10 bad caps and thought, this is easy, so replaced caps put it back together, and tv run fine for 2 hours, so turned it of, and put the back on,
plug tv in and it comes on and now goes back to same problem, so the question is, do you think its a main board problem due to the fact that you no longer have any buttons or remote working and have to pull the plug to turn it off.
think i answered my own question there, lol, but you guys may know something i dont,

no ideas then ? no common faults on the main board ?, well i have tryed tapping and pushing componants on the board to no effect, frezzeing and warmimg up, still nothing, going to give up on this, as a used board is £50 and i would say beyound economical repair for the age of the tv.

ok, think i may have solved the problem, while searching the net for a board, came across this KIT from ohm supplies, and it lists the parts for a fault with the picture, so i took a chance and replaced the SM caps and bingo, im over the moon, tv has been running fine for 3 hours, i have turned it on and off loads of times while hot, and let it cool down and turned on and off again with no problems, i have now put the tv back together and all still seems fine, been back on for half an hour now, only time will tell, but what a bit of luck coming across the kit, thank you ohm supplies, this is the link in case anyone want to have a look. http://www.ohmsupplies.co.uk/KIT153-...D-EAX366804030
and thank you vinceroger69 for trying to help.

This happened last Saturday and today I finally had time this morning before I went to work to replace two non brand capacitors

I will let you be the judge weather or not these are bad or not according to the blue ESR meter that I am using

I am comparing them to a brand new one that I installed

The display came back on and the programming was not lost which I was surprised by I would have thought that when the display went blank that so did the memory as well

I going to let it run for several days before I remount back on the wall next to the...
