Samsung Plasma TV Main Board Interchangeablity?

    I have a Samsung HPS5053X/XAA. It has a M.B. BN41-00694B.
When I look up that number is always shows its for Samsung
HPS4253 TV. They physically look the same. Will this board work if there is a menu option on set up for a larger screen size? I know it can be done on some LG TV sets.
    Thanks

The number you should be tracking is the white barcode sticker affixed to your tuner module BN94-00925B not BN41-00694B as that sounds like it's the PCB board blank number so yes they will use the same PCB but put different parts most likely the eeprom data loaded onto the board.

      SJ Also says BN94-00925A, BN94-00925C, BN94-00971A, BN94-00971B, BN94-00971C are substitutes.

You would have to read up from the service manuals what serv menus are adjustable but i have my doubts otherwise why would they have so many versions if they could use the same board for either size/

Most Samsung boards can be used with different screen sizes....

Ive on occasion used a 40" LCD Mainboard--In a 42" Plasma set, just changed the screen type in the eng menu....

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
            by Asraf Atb
            Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

Samsung TV UN75H6350AFXZC main board schematics?
            by mrautom8
Schematics for the main board needed please. Sticker on board states BN94-07517A but the silkscreen says BN41-02157B. Cant find here or anywhere on the web.

Backlights work when main boards disconnected. When connected and power button switched, the relay on the PSU board turns on for one second then back off.
While relay is on, all voltage rails are present and steady (scoped) on main board.
I love a good logic puzzle but getting lost without any schematics.
No shorts on ANY capacitor main board.

Plasma Samsung PS-50C96HD Main board BN94-01223C switches off supply after few seconds
            by alltvrepairs
            Hi,
I have this almost brand new Plasma was well stored. I would like to repair it for a friend of mine.

I have noticed that it works for few seconds then switches Off the Power_ On signal. Have disconnected boards and left maion board and power supply and still the same. The power supply with PS_ON and VA signals On stays on so it is not a problem in the power supply.
Any one met this problem in the past?...

LG 55NANO77SRA TV – Menu scrolling by itself even after removing button board (Main Board EBU66792103)
            by ygorsan
            Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help with a persistent issue on an LG TV model 55NANO77SRA, which uses the main board EBU66792103 (also used in LG UQ80 and NANO75/NANO80 series).

            🧩 Problem Summary:
            • The TV keeps scrolling through the menu or selecting items by itself.
            • I removed the physical button board (the entire panel with power and volume buttons) and also disconnected the flat cable (CN202) from the main board.
            • The remote control is not in use (batteries removed), and the TV still shows the same behavior.
