Picked up a Samsung un55c6400 with clicking power supply issue. Found main to be faulty. Purchased used board for tv, was supposidly specifically for this tv. Tv works just inverted menu, and washed out tye dye colors. Main board numbers match exact, except the last letter is different. Can I change something in the service menu or find the exact board.

Go into service menu and check LVDS settings. Something sounds off. Possibly bitrate. The most likely had a different manufactured panel or a different model panelLast edited by freakaftr8; 11-03-2015, 12:38 PM.Did I leave the soldering iron on? -

May I ask what the ' inverted menu' means, upside down or mirror image?Never stop learning

by TR103Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
- sound and backlight, but no picture

- when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

by JJAAMMThis was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... -
by Robby-GrHi all,
I’m trying to recover a Samsung UE55HU8500L (curved UHD, 4K model from 2014) after replacing the panel. The new panel is a 55A1UU8EH, which produces excellent image quality — very close to the original.
However, since the swap, the TV enters a boot loop (Samsung logo → restart) unless I enter the service menu and perform a reset.
The service mode had been previously modified — possibly by a technician or during the panel swap — and I suspect some key settings are mismatched for the European (Greece) market.

by YellowJacketHi friends,
a friend of mine gave me this TV to fix, with common SAMSUNG TV issue - damaged panel. Turning on, sound is present, but no picture. So I went directly to standard process, connecting two pads together with a wire ( see in the picture ), and then removing flex cables. With right flex connected, there was half screen working, but still no picture ( disappearing colors and similar weird stuff ) + working sound. With left flex connected, TV is restarting + working sound. I supposed, left side is damaged, so I then blocked all 8 CLK pins ( going from 0R resistors on the second... - Loading...
