Okay that was easier than I thought. Here's what I did...see attached image. The gauge wire is really thin so just having it tinned made for a good pin-connector on the female side of the connector. So in effect the P801 LED+/- connections are now swapped.
I wanted you to see this to warn me of any issues before I apply any power and test.
That eliminated backligts flicker, it is more of the screen flicker problem then and it is going to be tough to narrow it down, at this point I suspect the panel to be the problem.
Hi niswanger, I have the same problem on my 47LM6200 - exactly as you described. I was curious as to whether you eventually found a solution or is the whole panel cooked?
