Samsung ln46b640r3f led on but won't turn on

I have a Samsung lcd tv ln46b640r3f that when I bought didn't even turn on the led light. I found this out to be a blown ceramic disc cap that also broke the trace. I have since fixed that and gotten the led light to appear when I plug in the tv but still won't turn on. When I disconnect the main board from the power supply the backlights come on so I believe it is a main board issue. Another thing is when I hit the power button on the remote the led light usually goes out but if I hit the power button on the tv it will not respond. Does anyone have an experience with this? I have access to a multimeter to run tests.

Posting pictures of the back of your tv showing the boards with clear pictures may help you more with fixing your problem

Possibly a Mainboard issue, common problem is that the Psu kills the epprom on Samsungs.

This was indeed a main board. When I replaced this a few months ago it has been working ever since

Where did you find the main board replacement?
