    LG 32LB650v horizontal shadow line

    Hi all ,

I bought this screen a years ago , it is connected to my pc with hdmi cable.
However since 2 months , the screen has developped a shadow line in the upper middle part of the screen.

I can't see it with dark colours , but if a use a bright grey , red , green or white wallpaper , it's there , and when there is a tilt movement (camera) that's really annoying for my experienced eyes, because the line is in a fixed position.

The line goes from left to right and does not disappear , i've tried to let the screen off for a day to see if it can help but no, and ther's no need to warm up the screen to see it ,once the screen is on , it's there!

So guys what do you think? i can't post pictures , my phone produce some artifact when i try to take a picture at close range and i don't have a "real camera ".
    Main Pc : core i7 2600k @ 4.2 Ghz, ga-z77x up5 th , raptor WD 300Go , 16 Go crucial ballistix 1600 Mhz ,Asus Strix GTX980 DC2OC , Cooler Master storm trooper , Corsair AX860i.

    Laptop : Asus X73SV-TY549V

Samsung LH82QENELGC/EN Help needed - Static line on screen
    by Kiberge
    HI guys!

I've got a Samsung LH82QENELGC/EN with a problem and need some advice and I hope this is the forum to use?
I'm from Norway so I'd like to apology in advance if my description of the fault is kind of simple or the names on the components are way off. 😊

the TV is powering up, working as normally and picture is all good, except a 1.5-inch-wide vertical line of snow/static across the screen.

This TV is a Signage Display/Public Display version and it's been used at my work for 4-5 years showing commercials 24/7. The fault occurred when...

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
    by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

    Hi guys

I just started fixing 4k TV few months ago. so I am still learning a lot
I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

never saw the original symptom but I took the tv back home. the funny part is that after bringing to home, the tv worked fine no issue for 3 weeks.
then it started to show the ghosting white image.
I started using the tape method, but this tv does not have a T con board and it has only 1 ribbon cable from main board to the tv panel.
it has 3 thin small boards at the bottom of the...

To fix laptop screen vertical line by working on its EDP cable
    by almarhum
Has one here really gone through fixing laptop screen vertical line(s) by repairing/replacing its Embedded DisplayPort (EDP) cable, so would recount and share the complete steps of the process here now?

As most, if not all, believe the laptop screen vertical line(s) caused by defective Embedded DisplayPort (EDP) cable which slipped and passed through either laptop screen hinge but post here is asking help to elaborate definitively the useful, real knowledge of repairing in the most complete, correct way, esp. can decide/determine whether the cable can still be fixed or must be re...

Samsung UN50TU8000FXZC shows thin horizontal green line when warm
    by cubytus
    Hi to all,

I was given this TV, an entry-level 4K 50" set. Some have criticized its lack of contrast and relatively poor colour rendering, but for my needs, it's very decent.

I reset everything to factory settings, but this line keeps on fading in and out when watching a streaming channel from the Tizen firmware. Interestingly, it only happens when TV is warm, after about 1h45 of it being turned on.

Watching a movie from an external source doesn't trigger the line as easily (needs 2 hours), and from a normal viewing distance, is hardly noticeable. It...
