    Sanyo 50" Plasma Model# DP50749 Picture Issue

I really don't know how to explain the problem I am having so I have attached two pictures. I have red pixels all over the screen. It is like where there is suppose to be black on the screen but it is red. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

I would say potentially bad main board, may depend on what boards are in it. If it has panasonic boards there's a d board maybe that not sure but won't be sustains. could be even corrupted EEPROM data

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
          by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

          Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

          First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

Issue with picture quality of Sony bravia TV
          by CyberPhoenix
Hello, Last week I bought the 50" Sony X80j tv everything was working fine, untill I plugged the tv in a ups power supply 650va the tv remote control became unresponsive and the TV became laggy after a while the picture quality isn't the same as before the tv seems less brighter and the picture is somehow blurry, people's faces don't look as natural as before, there is a mini orange-pink tint to the edge of people's faces especially in NETFLIX Dolby Vision like in One Piece ep1 Alvida skin tone, my intention was to protect the tv but something went wrong I checked the ups with a multimeter,...

Trying to Save - LG 60PH6700 60-inch plasma HDTV - Powers ON but no picture
          by KYBOSH
Saved this beast from the landfill this weekend.
          Manfactured July 2013 in Mexico.

I love working on plasma TVs.
Its been a while but I was lucky enough to find 2 this week.

The TV powers on and stays on but no picture. Havent checked for sound yet.
No bulging caps although the insides are pretty dusty and the boards are discolored from many years of high heat.
          Will start troubleshooting tonight.

Samsung Plasma TV Power Supply Issue
          by lp20th
I have a vintage 2008 Samsung 50” Plasma TV, Model code PN50A550S1FXZA with a power supply part number BN44-00222A. I repaired the power supply board several years ago finding a couple of cold solder joints on the back side of the board and it's worked great up until now. Recently a fried sound occurred with the smell of burnt electronics and the TV shut down. Trying to turn it back on yielded the typical relay clicking with no TV boot up. Upon investigation, removing feeds to the other boards within the TV it was found that disconnecting the logic board from the power supply allowed the...

Panasonic Plasma TV, TH-42PX60U, strange issue with picture
          by lordultima
PanasonicTV, TH-42PX60U turns on as it normally would with picture and audio displaying correctly. After 30-60 minutes of watching TV, the screen goes dark with audio/sound working.
I don't have a voltmeter to check the voltages and that's why I thought I'd ask before if anyone knew what would could be causing it. I pulled the back cover and removed as much dust fom the boards and the vents as well. The backlight seems to be working properly because the TV turns on and a picture displays on the screen. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I took some pictures of the back with...
