Different main board model firmware updtae

If I install a compatible main board in a TV, which firmware should I install?
The original TV's main board's firmware or the replacement main board's firmware?
Original main board is, BN94-03366G and the replacement is, BN94-03366K.

I have a UN55B8000 TV and I have installed a UN55B7000 main board, which shows as a compatible board for my TV.
I have upgraded the firmware, using a 8000 firmware.
TV, still shows up as a 7000 model. The difference between them is the 120Hz and 240Hz(8000).
Which Hz do I have now?
Can I update the model number, to a 8000 model in the service menu?

IF the set is now working fine--I would leave WELL alone!

Messing with different F/W versions can be 'dangerous'....!

I doubt there'll be an issue if the on-screen says 7000 and it says 8000 on the rear cover!

I would check into the LCD panel part number for the 240Hz vs the 120Hz. if they are the same I wouldn't worry, if that are not the same then I would have some concerns.

I have changed the model number and screen size in the service menu and the TV works.
I'm not sure though at the Type in the Options, which one should I chose, there are like 4 types in 55" size. I have tried three of them and I haven't noticed a difference.
The 7000 model is 120Hz and the 8000 is 240Hz. If I have changed in the service menu the model number and the screen, I may still have the 240Hz? How can I verify this?
