    pn58a550s1fxza weird issue

    OK so i received this broken beast after the people didn't want to pay for the power board which was defiantly one of the issues..* it would just do this humming noise over and over no voltages where right at all.* I have someone who wants to take it off my hand but wants me to fix it too. So first thing i did was get the power board. Put that in and here's where i'm at. 1. with everything Ysus, X, mainboard, and logic plugged in It clicks and I see the green light on the logic for a split second as the power board click and it goes out again it does this either 3 or 4 times before it stops completely and i have to pull the plug. 2. If i remove the Y, and X power cables with the logic and main still plugged in.. exact same thing.. 3. If i keep everything unplugged besides main board i *only sometimes* get to hear the chime but it constantly resets itself over and over.
    Thanks ahead of time for the help that i can get.

      Posting pictures of the back of your tv showing the boards with clear pictures may help you more with fixing your problem

              had an interesting startup.. I tried to get it to boot up again after waiting a hour or so.. i finally got it to boot again with just the main board plugged .. after i had it booted i plugged in the logic board to see if it would kick it off I got two blinking leds *the right one and the left bottem led* they both blink simultaneously. i'm gonna post youtube to links to what it is doing in a little

                              I have three identical-spec 820-01700 boards (2.6/32/512), and ALL THREE boards came to us with the same fault, from different sources: The boards don't wake from hibernation with the keyboard or lid, they ONLY wake when you press the power button. I understand this is a very minor issue, but the boards must be fixed!

                              We will of course begin with the obvious (checking lid signals), but I couldn't help but notice these three boards were all 32GB variants. Has anyone noticed an issue relating to these 32GB boards in particular? I of course don't think it's a RAM issue, but it's bizarre...

                              This one's a weird one, and still unsolved despite it having gone back to Dell once.

                              Specs

                              i7-8750H, GTX 1060 Max Q, 500GB SSD & Seagate 7mm 1TB HDD. 17.3 IPS screen. This has the fingerprint reader in the power button.

                              Backstory

                              I bought this from eBay, from a wallpapering shop. £650 in 2020 which was a good price considering it's a gaming laptop. Physically it's in perfect shape, apart from the hinge mounts on the palmrest failing in the time I've had it (I have a new palmrest for it). The usual thin plastic crap modern build quality!...

                              So, I have a really bizarre issue that I'm struggling to identify the cause of. Working on an 820-02020 board with some bizarre keyboard/input-source character mapping. My suspicion is a possible damaged SPI ROM (U1970), perhaps, but I'm really not sure in this case:

                              1. The issue is pretty weird, but when installing MacOS, I noticed my WiFi password did not work. I quickly realized the special characters (!@#$%^& etc) were not mapping correctly.

                              2. I noticed the keyboard layout/input-source is defaulting to JAPANESE every single time I restore the board. I am not...

                              Upon turning laptop ON, screen lights up - stays black & about 30+ minutes later ASUS logo is shown & boots to windows, then laptop works fine.
                              Tried :
                              Cleaned inside for dust, applied fresh thermal paste. No Change!
                              Removed keyboard, Trackpad, fingerprint sensor. No Change!

                              Good day people.Have hp6510b laptop with crazy issue.I can switch laptop on either under battery attached or witchout it connected to a OG charger.Have display working correctly.Can access bios menu.Memory test passed ok.Issue is i cant boot into any install media usb or Optical drive to setup Os.Quick boot menu F9 is working ok.Laptop wont boot into media just boots looping or randomly switches himself off dead just before media boot.One time managed to boot into freedos Hp bios update and flashed F16rev bios with success.That did not fixed issue.Couple times rarely like 1/40 laptop did boot...
