    Hitach 50s601 screen issue

    Been working with this plasma for a while now, picked it up would not power up without going into protection. Found the lower sdr board to be faulty. Replaced with know working sdr and tv powers up fine with picture. BUT the lower half of the screen is distorted, seems to have some moving lines running through it. If this was a Lcd I would chalk it up to a bad panel, but being a plasma I'm not so sure. Would faulty y sustain cause this issue?

      Looks like a buffer fault or loose connectors on the lowwer y buffer reseat them.

          I have tried reseating the connectors, even tried another complete buffer same effect.

              Hmm possibly panel fault then unfortunatly.

                      I am experiencing a BIOS-related issue with my Dynabook Satellite Pro C50D-B-100. When I power on the laptop, the screen stays black, and there is no response from the system. I suspect a corrupted BIOS.

                      Hello all ~

                      Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

                      When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.

                      I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped...

                      HELP - Contrast/brightness issue with subtitles on screen

                      Hi everybody
                      Since day one I'm having an unpleasant contrast/brightness issue on my Asus laptop.
                      Basically while watching movies, if subtitles appear on screen, the contrast or the brightness of the entire screen increases a lot (not sure if it'is brightness or contrast), disturbing the viewing of the movie.

                      Last year I replaced my screen because got damaged and this contrast/brigthness issue persists. It happens only on the laptop screen, in fact If i plug an external HDMI screen the issue does not occour on it.

                      It occours both on ubuntu and windows...

                      Samsung UE48JU7000 screen issue after backlight replacement

                      Hi all,

                      Because of two bright spots and a couple of dark spots I decided to replace the backlights in my Samsung UE48JU7000. See attached photos:


                      I thought all went well, but after full assembly and testing it out it turns out not all is fine. The backlights are completely fine but I have some weird issues on the right half of the screen. Since I didn't really touch the T-CON board (apart from taking out the ribbons of the display and reconnecting them on assembly) it would be weird that the issue is with the T-CON board... But based on the behavior of the service...

                      Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light

                      Hello,

                      Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

                      Model number is TH-50PZ85U

                      Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

                      Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

                      I also hear a few clicks.

                      I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

                      Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...
