Re: Hisense 50K360G
So I disassembled the panel and found no damage on the panel or backlight at all.
I inspected the ribbons connecting the panel to the address boards and found no damage there either. I'm guessing maybe one of the address boards has a surface mount cap issue. Can anyone direct me with testing the tiny caps on these boards?
I will post some pictures

Re: Hisense 50K360G
I played around with mine a bit more and realized that to force the backlights on, I needed to connect stby to SW and BRI. I knew that, but wasn't thinking. So my power supply is fine. Glad I didn't spend any money yet. Mine has to be the main board, and I'm leaning towards the eeprom. ShopJimmy has it and I'm going to give it a shot.Leave a comment:

They make these things with the expectation of them being disposable, and not repairable.Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 50K360G
I thought as much. I'm sure Hisense has some sort of schematic. They produced the piece of junk!
Anyway if I can't get it fixed. I'll just sell all the components I guess.Leave a comment:

I couldn't find a service manual for it. I doubt anyone will know what that code is.Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 50K360G
Ya know I am still getting a flashing code before led's power on. Blinks 7 times and a very short pause then 3 more blinks. Then the power supply turns on the led array. Can anyone tell me what this code string relates to? Could it mean the problem is with the panel?Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 50K360G
I think that's your next move. Once you get the trim off, you might see the problem. It's sounding like TAB bond failure.Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 50K360G
So I changed the main and Tcon boards but still no picture. I guess I'm gonna pull the trim off and look at the panel.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you dbier63. Now I know I have a problem with the power supply, as opposed to a bad LED.Leave a comment:

lookimback: I measured voltage last night and have 206 Vdc on both legs of LED backlight.

Re: Hisense 50K360G
Thanks I'll check for the burns and cracking.
Also I will measure those voltages to the LEDs and post tomorrow.Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 50K360G
I have one of these which won't power on, no turn on signal from the main, but even if I manually turn on the PSU, I still don't get backlights. PFC comes on, 380+ volts, and I get 144v to each pair of LED outputs, but no backlights.
dbier63, would you be able to tell me what voltage you get to your LEDs? Thanks.Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 50K360G
I had this model Hisense, and the LCD screen was bad. I would do an screen inspection by removing the TV front bezel and then all four metal brackets around the LCD screen. check for small cracks and burn marksLeave a comment:

Re: Hisense 50K360G
Right, which is why I haven't done that. I have ordered a new main so we'll see how that works.Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 50K360G
I will say this , if you put BOTH cables back in and leave the TV on long enough you will probably burn out your new T-CON board.
No functions of some of the button is not related to having only half of the screen working.Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 50K360G
Replaced the tcon and measured 12.68 vdc at the input to the board. Still only have half a picture with the right side ribbon removed. Also nothing happens when the menu, input, channel or sound buttons are pressed. The only button that does anything is the on off button. So I'm thinking the problem may be the main board. Although I'd really like to see a schematic for the board as I would be able to follow the current path. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

Do you think maybe the chip went bad because of a problem with the main board?Leave a comment:

by chris89Hi I replaced the mainboard, the t-con, and wifi, still no dice.
Any idea on what it could be, causing the tv to not turn on? Just blinking LED light.
Processor gets hot so I know the Mediatek MT9612 is functional.
Thanks

by flibidyI have here a Magnum IA.100 which belongs to my parents.
The unit powers on & when the relay kicks in, you get a pop from the speakers (this might sound weird but is usual behavior for this amp). However, you get nothing coming through it from any of the inputs & no pops and crackls from any of the controls.
Because of the sound from the speaker when the amp turns on I have assumed that the output section probably works but I could be wrong & I'm not sure how to test that side of things further.

by BiruslapioBought this TV used not working, panel flashed briefly on power up and it was blinking 8 times, a quick look on SS board revealed a common fault on the 3uF 250V capacitors, C201 to C205 (C1620X in the service manual), the solder joints were all cracked, C201 and C205 pins were darkened and some sparking had occurred on them, C201 was split open and clearly overheated in its last hours, replaced that one and resoldered the others, 8 blinks fixed.
Also the previous owner broke the antenna connector by taking the TV out of the wall mount forgetting to unplug it, I desoldered the tuner... -
by djmkaHello.
I have a Hisense 58" 4K television which has a strange issue whereby the right half of the screen takes slightly longer to load an image than the left. It also has discolouration and horizontal blocks. I've attached images of the colour problem and blocking but do not know how to attach a video of the lagging. Can anyone please advise me how to upload a video? Many thanks... -
Hey folks,
I'm not a professional, but I do have a decent amount of knowledge when it comes to electronic repairs.
A friend of mine recently bought a brand new Hisense 75” 4K QLED Smart TV (75E7NQTUK) but unfortunately, he cracked the screen just a few days later. Luckily, he had insurance and got a replacement right away but weirdly enough, the insurance company never asked for the broken unit back.
So, I took it off his hands and figured I'd try to repair it myself rather than see it go to waste. I've been searching for a replacement screen but can't...1 Photo - Loading...
