Re: Mi TV 4 Pro-Samsung Panel LSC550FN20 - Video problem, backlight and Audio works f
Hi SolarFlare,
Did you ever get to the bottom of this issue? I have a JVC LT-40CF890 which is displaying the same symptoms as your television. The backlights come on, sound can be heard, I can change the volume etc...,but no image. The chip labelled Samsung Display VTU63A0 NKPBWS00 2012 gets hotter than I would expect.

Samsung UE58TU7100K - powering cycling on and off
Hi all,
I have a 58" Samsung that has an issue whereby it will not display a picture and cycles through its powering on process. The backlights come on for 1-2 seconds then go off. I removed the rear of the television and removed the grey flat cable going from the mainboard to the lefthand side COF (this is linked to the righthand side via a thin ribbon cable) and the backlights come on and stay on. No image is displayed (obviously). Sound can be heard through the speakers. I reconnected the flat cable and disconnected the righthand side COF and the tv behaved like it did when I disconnected...

Re: Hisense H58AE6100UK - discolouration and slow load on right side of display
Further update -
One thing I have noticed after watching the television is that colours on the side without the tabs is a little “washed out”. I believe this has been mentioned before but I wanted to reiterate it. To be honest, it’s a small price to pay to get my tv working again.

Re: Hisense H58AE6100UK - discolouration and slow load on right side of display
I had a stiff drink, took a deep breath and mustered the courage to peel off the six COFs
on the right-side of the screen. I powered the television on, fully expecting it to say "RIP" but to my delight it displayed a perfect picture. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Davi.P and nomoresonys for excellent advice.

Re: Hisense H58AE6100UK - discolouration and slow load on right side of display
Update -
I have removed the bezel to expose the 6 side cofs. At least two of them looks to be damaged (probably happened whist removing the bezel a month or so ago to fit new backlights).
If I move the first one the colours go back to normal. The same happens when I move the other, more damaged one.
Are you (Davi.p) saying that removing the damaged cofs will (may) fix the issue? If so, do I cut them as close to the panel as possible or should I leave a certain amount?...

Re: Philips 65PUS6554/12 - only powers on if you prime backlights first
Update -
I finally dismantled the television to get to the LEDs and found each strip consumed varying voltages using my LED tester:-
Strip 1 - 29.1v
Strip 2 - 29.2v
Strip 3 - 33.5v
Strip 4 - 31.5v
Strip 5 - 29.2v
Strip 6 - 32.5v
Based on the above, I have decided to purchase a new set of backlights and shall let you know the outcome. Hopefully, with new lights in, the television should operate correctly.

Re: Philips 65PUS6554/12 - only powers on if you prime backlights first
I tried to power on the television earlier today but it wouldn't start. I took the back off and applied heat (using my wife's hairdryer) to the area you highlighted and it then powered up successfully. Could you please explain why it works when preheating the power board. Can you also confirm that it is 100% the backlights that are faulty, Finally, has anyone had experience of unsticking the panel drivers from the chassis on a Philips tv. They are stuck in a few places making it almost impossible to free them....

Hisense H58AE6100UK - discolouration and slow load on right side of display
Hello.
I have a Hisense 58" 4K television which has a strange issue whereby the right half of the screen takes slightly longer to load an image than the left. It also has discolouration and horizontal blocks. I've attached images of the colour problem and blocking but do not know how to attach a video of the lagging. Can anyone please advise me how to upload a video? Many thanks...
