No you don't need to replace them all.
Replace the domed ones, and it's recommended to replace any that are in proximity with the ones that failed.

Use better caps, panasonics, Ruby's etc.

No you don't "need" to replace them all. That is very easy to say for someone that has proper equipment to check capacitors. However... caps can "look" good and still be bad. You may be lucky by replacing only the visibly bad caps, but you may be not. So, for anyone that do not have any way of checking ESR I recommend to replace them all. Caps are cheap, it isn't like you would be spending big $$$

What Zener Diodes on a Linear Power Supply
          by caspian
          Dear members,

I have a linear variable power supply with unknown brand name that I used for voltage injection.
Then it failed. I discovered that its transistors (Q1 and Q2) are shorted.
In addition, I discovered that its zener diodes are defective.
I can replace the burned transistors.
But I do not know the model of the zener diodes. the model number is not marked on the zener diodes.
Therefore, I cannot replace the zener diodes.
I do not want to test the zener diodes in a test circuit to discover their model or value.
          no schematics are available...

GL702VM not charging/unable to power on

          Disclaimer

This is my first time at attempting such repair and troubleshooting, so I apologize in advance if I do something wrong or misunderstand some things. I will attempt my best to research more information to better understand everything.

          Issue

Laptop was unable to charge the battery, but was able to boot up without it, when powered on it had unstable CPU clocks while under load due to sudden throttling when reaching 70C. Upon visual inspection, a blown capacitor PCI8601 was discovered near MOSFET PQH8601, which has been replaced. The MOSFET...

First of all, I'd like to mention that I'm a novice when it comes to laptop repair, although I do have some experience with soldering.
One day, my laptop experienced a severe stutter, and after rebooting, it failed to boot into Windows. I decided to disassemble it and found that the PL900 component was blown. Later, I came across a post (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...error%E2%80%99) with the same problem, where...

Is it no harm to replace with capacitor without ripple current rating?
          by chth96
When I tried to repair LG 29 inch CRT TV, I found that the ESR value of samyoung SMS capacitor(160v 2.2uf), which is very close to D1879 transistor, is 6 ohm.

Judging from above ESR Meter Table,I think It is necessary to replace this sms capacitor. So I visited local electronics shop, and I purchased 160v 2.2uf rubycon YK capacitor.
But when I browse through rubycon YK datasheet,I found that there is no ripple current rating for 160v 2.2uf specification. But On the contrary, I found 39 mA ripple current rating for 160v 2.2uf SMS capacitor.
          Rubycon YK DataSheet (b...

Help with replacing Capacitors on Altec Lansing ATP 3
          by yuzupatogik
          Hello,
I have this old (2004?) Altec Lansing ATP3 and i would like to replace the capacitors. I have identified 34 out of the 36 of them as Samxon GR of various capacities and voltages.

I can't find datasheets for the Samxon in any of the following variants:

10000uF 25 v - this one i really want to replace because i suspect it is what causes a dull hum regardless of the volume knob position or if the source is plugged in. I am eyeballing the Rubycon 25PK10000MEFCGC18X35.5 for this purpose. So if i pay a 10x the price part for shipping i might as well go ahead and...
