Panasonic tc-p50s30 - 14 blinks

Hi eveyone,

New to the forum and read all I could find about my problem. This problem started when I lift the TV to clean under. No brocken screen, no frame / case damage and hits (blows).

Nothing that compares to my problem, so:
- power plug in - relay clic
- led flashing 14x right way
- 5v standby voltage Ok, however return 5v standby On no voltage and the same on f15, probably because of the 5v standby On return.
- no short on any cards (P, SS, SC, SU) connectors and tested as decribed on different treads.

I believe is the A card, however I need to be sure.
I am confortable with electronics in general, so any test, just let me know.
I need one confirmation for test of the P board the reference voltages, so jumper the 5v stanby to 5v standby On will bring the reference voltage On?

Posting pictures of the back of your tv showing the boards with clear pictures may help you more with fixing your problem

Sorry to bump a old thread, cant make one, but have a question regarding the same tv.


The tv went out yesterday cause the tv wouldnt respond and had a solid red light. I used the shop jimmy youtube video to trouble shoot but my multimeter must suck cause in ohms they were all the same. When you plug in the tv you hear the PS click and just a solid red line. When i plug it in and then hold down the power button, it will change from solid red to blinking 14 times. Do you guys think its the power supply or the A (main board). Im hoping for the powersupply since its the cheaper of the 2 to replace lol.

or C: the SC board shorted which is what I'm suspecting here

Disconnect SC2, check resistance across those pins, have meter set to megohms.
