Samsung UE39F5500 upside down picture

hi
old post this but new problem just changed mainboard on this set, previous mainboard dead
on fitting replacement used board (ebay) everything works picture is spot on but picture is upside down
have tried a reset still same, is there a setting in the service menu to fix this.
firmware update maybe
is it a faulty replacement board, no other available at this time
if I hang it on the wall upside down it would be fine
any ideas please, before I pull out all of my hair

searching google it appears I need to find HV Flip in the service menu, however can not find this option

As said before firmware update will correct the problem

should I manually download the firmware and install from usb or select the auto update, it is showing on screen update available

just updated firmware to latest version via usb, picture still upside down

update from auto would be ok ,but i always download the firmware and install via usb ,try the auto first

ok try this
go to service menu
Look for panel type
Note down the panel type showing
Change the panel type noting what happens on the screen
Keep changing until the screen flips to the correct

Hi

You might find HV flip in service menu - move to advanced and key 0 0 0 0 with remote to get a different menu.
