Philips 42PFP5532D/05 | Chassis Number - LC7.2E PA.

Hey, guys. I have a Philips flat panel plasma tv which is refusing to turn on. The red front LED flashes 1 long and 2 short. The logic board led (green) flashes 6 short times and repeats.

I've done the usual of changing out blown capacitors but still to no avail.

Any help is much appreciated!

Check the main fuse on the power board, can fail without obvious cause. Replacing that fixed a 42PFP5532 I had.

What one is the main fuse? I can see 3 haha.

I checked all 3 with a dvm and they all appear to work..

Posting pictures of the back of your tv showing the boards with clear pictures may help you more with fixing your problem

All fixed now! I removed the PSU and found a sticky substance on the back of the board, scrubbed all that off and cleaned all the components and it came back to life!
