Re: Samsung LN46C750R2F/ Sound but No Video
I had a LN46C650 with a BN44-00341B power supply. Set had no backlight so I checked this cap and it was bad (0.2nf) but wanted to verify with another cap but didn't have the same. I couldn't decipher the markings but found a 680nf which I presumed to be the same working voltage (similar circuit location on donor board. The cap is in the pic atop the fuse and the set works fine now.
Is there any reason I shouldn't leave this cap in, especially if the circuit itself is causing the cap to lower in capacitance over time ?
