    Westinghouse lvm-42w2 only standby voltage

So my buddy gave me this tv to look at because it would not turn on. Specifically when it is plugged in the light on the front (a ring with a w) is lit. Once the power button is pressed the light goes off and the set clicks with nothing on the screen. I opened the set to test voltages from the power supply and only read the 5v standby voltage. I then removed the board and tested the components i could test (diodes fuses etc) and came across these readings on the two (i think) mosfet transistors.

    Q302
    Black lead. Red lead. Reading.
    Source. Drain. 1
    Source. Gate. 1
    G. D. 1
    G. S. 578
    D. S. 426
    D. G. 1

    Q301
    Source. Drain. 1
Source. Gate. Starts at 1900s and steadily falls
    G. D. 1
    G. S. 086
    D. S. 427
    D. G. 545

I havent looked at a schematic or a data sheet on them (they are buried under a heatsink and i cant read the numbers). Is it a good assumption that the q301 transistor is bad and needs to be replaced? If so it is going to be a pain but a fun challenge i guess
Doing this on the side to make some extra money for my daughters dance competition.

It may have Gate/Source resistor in parallel. Are those reading in Diode mode or Ohm mode, what do you get in Ohm mode?
How about the command signals (PS-ON, BL-ON, etc.) from the main board to turn on the power supply? How about the DCV on the main filter cap when the TV is not turned on and when it is turned on?
How about good clear pictures of the whole backside of the TV and the boards?
We do not have the TV in front of us to look at to see what the setup is.
