I want to send satellite tv from one room to another. this would be done using 2.4ghz tv senders. but due to the numerous thick concrete walls inbetween the two positions i would probably need to do this outdoors as both have windows on the same side. anyone done anything like this? i would imagine that the antennas would need to be extended or new antennas fabricated and so they were fixed on the side of the building at both positions.

by DJ_MIXWould like to add external sma connectors to usb wifi. Any experts out there?
Would this work cut the two traces as pictures and attach coaxial ground to points shown.
I can take better pics if needed. I will most likely use pcb mounted sma connectors on the sides....04-04-2021, 04:07 PM -
by HondamanRecently I switched from my Gray-Hoverman to the Antennas Direct ClearStream 4 MAX. Seems to work about as well as the old G-H in my attic (one-story ranch home), but the Antennas Direct unit can be mounted outside on my chimney if desired.
I should mention that I was also using a 29-inch "T" shaped antenna for RF channel 11. I know you're not supposed to use TWO antennas unless they have the same length coaxial cable going into your combiner (and even then there might be problems). So I made sure the cables were equal length.
Years ago I made a "T"... -
by eccerr0rAnyone had experience with "attic" vs "rooftop" vs "rabbit ears" vs "folded dipole in house" antennas?
How much of an improvement would it seem going from one to another? For the attic and rooftop antennas, does having motorized rotation help a lot?
Homemade antennas?
I have a plywood/asphalt roof and wonder if an attic antenna would do wonders, for AM? FM? or DTV? -
by rfxcaseyI have an Siemens HMI with vertical lines on half of the screen. These lines aren't scrambled garbage but rather very regular in pattern and color. I have replaced the LCD with a new one and still the problem persists. I'm wondering if this isn't indicative of a bad video process chip or video memory? Any help would be appreciated. The cable appears to be OK but one pin on the header is unpopulated, though there isn't any loose wire to suggest one broke off or popped out of the connector. In the picture below where the connector is busted out of the side, I did that with my small screw driver...
