Hello! There is also a television company called "Horizont". In terms of display quality it's in the medium category, but it's affordable, not expensive.
I'm not sure if it's popular in Europe, but here in Belarus people buy it because of its affordable price.

What's this QLED they advertise ? anything to do with Samsung's?

The price seems too good for real "QLED", coming from a samsung dying some months after the 3 year warranty, I'm not sure if having a technically "worse" TV dying sooner, within warranty, would be such a bad thing.

Hi,

I cant seem to find any trace of a Mainboard for a tv im trying to fix. How would i go about finding out if there is a compatible Vestel board or if it is one.

The mainboard has PE1191 and V28A001553A1 printed on it. It cant find any trace of that anywhere. Any ideas would be great as this is a nice tv that doesnt need to go to the scrap.

I'd suggest starting a new thread and posting pics of the inside and giving details about the actual problem. Cheers.

Not really, Vestel have used lots of displays they dont make Lcd screens so they get a screen off Lg and make the backlight module for it and use the Lcds screen. Vestel use lots of screen oems:

Samsung - WNDS
LG - WNDL
SHARP - WNDP
Auo - WNDA
CMO - WNDC
BOE - WNDB

Which panel maufacturer is WNVL?
EDIT: Looks like it could be the designation for a HD LG panel. There is a feint inscription of
"MB95 HD LG
32240 ELED SNB"

im probably wrong but i thought Technika had died when tesco direct died, i didnt see any in my local tesco for ages but maybe the larger stores still do stock them?

Here's another one I came across rather recently: Panasonic...no joke. I actually regret not taking a picture of it, since people might be inclined not to believe me on that one...I had no idea Panny ever used Vestel chassis.

Toshiba is still an "only some", their high end 4K TVs are still made by them.
