Looking for schematic for PSIV131601A power supply.

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has a schematic for a PSIV131601A power supply, built by Samsung and I know it's used in some Toshiba LCDs. I have tried to purchase a BN44-00261A power supply only to have been dudded by two Chinese suppliers (delivered random stuff instead), and now the third has delivered this board instead wired up to try and look like a BN44-00261A. If it wasn't such a nice looking unit when running I'd be over this TV, but the challenge goes on.

I don't mind the P/S swap, but alas it doesn't work on this tv.

The board supplies 5v all of the time, it doesn't seem to have 5v standby. The mainboard doesn't like this, it wants the 5v to come up when requested. The TV_on control powers the 13v and inverters on and off. I'm at the point of making it do 5v standby and switching the normal 5v some other way, but it'd be real nice to have a schematic. I have searched around but with no luck.

I have included a generic image of the P/S in question. I'm pursisting with this P/S because my location seems to be a geological oddity, deliveries seem to always be weeks from all directions (Dappa Dan reference).

Are you sure you do not have 5.3VSTBY? that 5.3VSTBY is also fed into the switch (QM853) that that is turned on when 13V power supply is turned on by the PS-ON to produce 5.3V.

      Thanks for the reply.

Yes, if it was a N44-00261A it would have the switched 5v, but its not that board. The board supplied is a PSIV131601A instead of a PSI161C01A. I'm sure I can make it work, I just need to make sure of the circuit. There seems to be nothing between the rectifiers and the plug on the board. I'd put in a N-Fet like on the other board and tie it to the 13V line for the enable. A fet, two resistors, a snubber cap and a filter cap.
