CRT TV/VCR Combo RCA T13008BK Bad video

I have a TV/VCR combo that has a really bad video problem. As you can see in the pics below, the picture is very snowy and scrambled. I connected my iPad to the video output and the video was good. The screen is snowy and turns blue(no signal) then snowy picture again. The audio is also distorted at times. Is this thing worth working on or not. Is it just a dirty head on the VCR or something more?

lol, thats what I'm thinking? Is it worth having to risk my life to discharge a CRT so I can get access and remove the chassis holding the VCR. I get old crap old people bring me and I am too nice to say no thanks.

Well the only reason I can think of saving a CRT would be for retro gaming? The older gaming consoles just don't cut it on the newer TV's of today. I have an old CRT id like to fix one day just purely for this reason tho the CRT I kept was "apparently" "The Dux nuts" back in the day so possibly worth saving for that reason too mayb?

it probably has a few bad caps - high voltage ones like 10uf 250v
i would also put money on it having some broken solder joints.
