Hello. I have 42" polaroid tlx 04244 b lcd tv. It has two power inverter boards. Master board is on the left and the slave is one on the right side of the back of the tv. At first, when it all started, the tv will make high pitch electric sound coming from the back of the tv when it is powered on. After a warn up the sound would dissipate and everything would return to normal. It lasted about 3 days. Then one morning the tv on the power on showed the usual blue booting screen with the polaroid logo in the middle and went black. Sound was still coming normally but screen was black. The power indicator was on like under normal functioning. I took whole back cover off and powered it in the dark room. No glow after the creen shuts off. I found that one of the two transformers on the master board making that noise I mentioned earlier, but no evidence of damage on inspection. I replaced both inverter boards with the new ones. It did not solved the problem. I tested the voltage on the DC outputs on the main power board and they are acording to the "book"-24v,12v,5v. It ruled out power main power board. Then I disconnected the cable that goes to the T-Con board and powered the tv on and there was just dark screen slightly lit up for the moment of time it usualy takes to boot up the tv and then the screen got shutt off as earlier. Who knows where else to look for the root of the problem please give an advice to me. Thanks to everyone who took a look at this post.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by ermalsHi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:
1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
3. I've checked voltages... -
by delpiero3Hi everyone, newcomer in this forum, i watched tons of video from Sorin, i like the way i calmly explain things, i did quite some console repair, i am not that bad at micro-soldering, but troubleshooting where the issue is, is definitely where i still have progress to make. Usually i was able to fix the console because the failure was obvious, or because i was able to find someone with similar measures on the board and was pinpointing what to replace that way.
Nevertheless, let's say, i don't come as a total beginner.
I have this old laptop, which suit perfectly my needs, with the... -
by lostoneHello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.
First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected...-
