    Hyundi 42" Plasma (HPT-4250) Bizarre problem!

    Hi all! First i'd like to say an early thanks for any help offered. This TV has been a pain in the A*** for the past few weeks, I would also like to say that I am not liable for any brain frying caused by this TV!


    So i got the TV from a dump and I am trying to revive it, its an old TV but by the looks of it its very well built. The issue is when I plug it in you get no light, sound, screen, nothing. But! the bizarre part when i turn the hard switch off on the TV for a few seconds the red light comes on! So at this point I turn the hard switch back on and the red light stays on. I then press the soft power button and volla! green light But still no screen or sound.

    I have checked all caps and they seem to (visually) be okay. I was thinking Relay? because when I turn the TV on there is no clicking at all.

          I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

          In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
          1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
            Frequency: Happened about once a week.
            Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
          2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
            Frequency: Happened about once a week.
            Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
          3. Problem: TV shuts down

          Hello friends,

          A yellow light was flashing on my monitor. It was like it was constantly cutting power. When I opened it up, I saw that the big capacitor in the high voltage line was leaking. I replaced it. When I turned it on for the first time, it had the same problem again. But then, interestingly, it got better. The yellow light was on steady. But the monitor wouldn't turn on. When I examined them with a thermal camera, I saw that the Fli5961-LF reached 50 degrees Celsius and the EM636165TS next to it reached 100 degrees Celsius and was drawing high current on the motherboard....

          I have this HP laptop, board: DA0G3DMBCE0 rev:E

          The keyboard light only work, when i connect ac power supply(without battery), until the screen come with cmos checksum error. After this point light can't switch on. The first 5-6 seconds i can switch on/off light with FN+F4. When booing on, i can't switch on.
          Keyb light controller Y59116, i think working, because receive i2c commands the firsr 5 seconds
          I know schematic doesn't exist for this board
          Someone know similar board, that use this rgb keyboard light controller?

          Hello,

          Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

          Model number is TH-50PZ85U

          Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

          Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

          I also hear a few clicks.

          I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

          Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

          tv turn on and show logo(backlight on)than backlight turn off than red led in front blinking 7 time. the tv remote control working fine (sound on no picture).backlight changed same problem
          in 65k560 how to remove protection of backlight? picture of inverter and sockets attached .
