summery of where i am in respect to this tv.

    1) SC board is faulty plan on sending to Moduslink for exchange/repair

2)wanted to ensure that SD and SU boards are not faulty , I am going to check that none of the pins on the ribbon cable are shorted to ground, but I wanted to ensure that I am talking about correct pins/ribbon cable.
these are the cables that connect SD/SU boards to SC board correct ?? Currently I have Sc board removed and ribbon cable between SU and SD disconnected, I see pins on connector SD 46 (pins 3,5,7) are shorted to chassis ground(screw fastening board to chassis), rest of pins are at 30 Meg or so

Faulty SD board as well as SC ??

    thanks
The only pins that we need to check were highlighted yellow in the previous photos, there are some which are also gnd.

    SU41

All are in respect to - Vfg(floating gnd, the metal plate the bolt goes through)
    pin 2, or TPSU15 (VFO) 2.2Meg
    pin 4, TPSU16 (VSCN-F (TPSC1)) 221K
    pin 8, TPSU17 (5V_F) 5.7Meg

    SD42

    pin 1, or TPSD29 (VFO) 2.2Meg
    pin 2, TPSD28 (VSCN-F (TPSC1)) 221K
    pin 6, TPSD26 (5V_F) 5.7meg

Post #8 has some docs, download G20 series and go to slide 44.

so long as the above are not short or greatly different(lower) I would assume they are ok. traditionally Vfo will go short.

    here's a spreadsheet I did on 3 board sets. 1 good, 2 x bad
