I've taken the back off and looked at the caps they all look good. I've also checked fuses they all are good. I've done some voltage checks but this is the first time I've worked on a TV so I'm not totally sure what I'm looking for. So the voltages I'm seeing are VS 203, VA 55, VY 180, VSC 150, VZB 14. Anything sticking out as a red flag? Is VZB suposed to be low (14v)?

Agreed; A common issue seems to be the ER inductor solder joints failing, which causes the Z-sustain IGBTs to fail after some time. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: LG 60pv450 no picture but has sound
Ok. So I've checked the sticker all voltages are good but the VZB (14v). I tried unhooking the ribbon cable and the buffer and still I only get 14v. I pulled the card out and it looks find nothing burnt and the inductor solder joints are fine. I've looked to buy a z-sustain board but no one seems to have one. It's a Lge pop 100920 board 60r3_z partno EAX62076601 rev G if any one has one please let me know.

Re: LG 60pv450 no picture but has sound
Really no point if Vzb is so low. But, if you want... Jumper EXT AUTO GEN on control board and disconnect LVDS cable (runs between main & control boards)
That'll engage the test pattern - without the Z-sus it'll be very distorted though...Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
