I think I'm about to be offered an exchange on my dodgy 46 inch Kogan TV with a failed Samsung Panel (18 months it lasted with hardly any use). The TV they might offer me as an exchange says in the spec sheet that it uses an Innolux Panel. Anyone know the reputation of this brand?

Dont think 'Innolux' is a Panel Maker, Ive certainly never heard of it--More probably a name-tag the set maker attached to it, make the set look good in the specs....

Innolux = Chi-Mei.
Average reliability, poor picture quality. Generally cheapest of the bunch.

Panasonic or LG only. (Sharp/Toshiba if >55" and definitely made by Sharp/Toshiba... they rebadge many 50" and below.)Originally posted by dkneyle View Post
