    Samsung Discoloration then Turns off

I've fixed 4 or 5 tv's now mainly caps, fuses and z-sustain chips but this tv is giving me hell. I don't know enough to troubleshoot this one. When I first got it, when you plugged it in it immediately tried to turn on and then would turn off immediately and repeated indefinitely. The only caps I could find with visible damage were on the vscan board so I replaced. Still won't stay on. So I took all caps out of the power supply board and found two bad thought not visibly damaged. I replaced those and now the tv comes on and shows a picture though it is mainly white with black splotches throughout and stays on for prob 10 secs then goes off. This is where I'm stumped. Obviously this tv had some major issue that are above a hobbyist trying to repair but I don't want to give up. Two issues, the picture looks like crap and it still turns off just not as fast and is giving me a picture at least. Here is what the picture looks like. Any ideas to point me in right direction?

I believe this is a symptom of a faulty C102 on the mainboard.
That little SMD cap gives all types of problems on these Sammy "A" TVs.

yeah I found people talking about that and haven't replaced that one yet? But could that cause the crappy picture?

One that I had, did that, when it actually came on.

Yeah I had another that didn't like white but I've never seen that bad. I ordered replacements c102 caps from mouser so hopefully I'll finally be done.

i'd check the xmain , see if anything shorted or blown fuses. there's a ceramic fuse and also small green pico fuses.

no experience with this Tv but I'd be checking x and ymains and buffer boards

Ok, I'll look into that thanks. I glanced over them but I'll take them out and do some testing. I've had to replace so many parts just to get this thing going. I'm wondering if it got a lightning strike, seems odd that so much failed at once.
