sharp aquos lc-70le757u screen is red like lava, slow refresh rate.

I have come across a 70 inch sharp aquos lc-70le757u 3d tv. I have replaced the TCON board and I'm still having issues with the tv. Please see the attached picture to better understand.

    Thank you.

Probably bad panel, these 70"'sharp TVs seem to have a high panel failure rate. The local shop I get parts from has/had 4 of them all with tab bond issues that were not able to be repaired.

One thing you might try is to find out how to access the Service Menu and see if there is a pre and post t-con test pattern set.

OK thanks, I was thinking it was the panel but I wasn't sure. The picture is so messed up I can't even see the menu on the screen.

It's covered up by red "lava."

I was actually a dummy and placed the original T-CON board back in and then looked at the one I ordered and it's a slightly different model causing the video cord not to fit the board.

Is it worth ordering another T-CON board or do you think it's the panel?

Snap some photos of your TV exposed boards. I am not sure what you mean by " not fitting into the board".

Here's a side by side of my original and what I ordered. The video port on the one I ordered is smaller and won't fit. the part number also ends in a 02 instead of a 20.

This was my fault as I did not pay attention to the pictures before ordering.

So what you are saying is you never got a chance to try the second tcon board cause of an incomparable connector?
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Correct, the one I purchased is not compatible. Should I take the gamble and get another board?

I'm not sure that uniform picture of purply vertical lines think that it is at con board but the blob on the bottom center of the picture makes me more or less think it's a panel failure

That's what I'm thinking. What's the best course of action? Take the boards out and sell them? Sell it as a whole?

first you can verify it by pulling the frame and checking the ribbons going into the panel to see if you have a bad connection. then if it t-con board is cheap enough for the proper one you could try it but if it's not then yes part the thing out. Things that would probably sell are main boards and tcon's and led strips. you'll probably end up selling those things pretty quickly because if other people are having this problem so probably Most likely by yours thinking that that'll fix their problem.
