    insignia NS-PDP50HD-09 four blinks

I have an insignia NS-PDP50HD-09 with the four blink error code. I ordered the repair kit from coppell tv and installed to no avail. Coppell's website states that there are several other causes for the four blink code. I have disconnected the ysus and zsus with no changes. When i test the vs and va I get no volts. I tried two different volt meters and got the same readings. Both are autoranging. When I plug the tv in, it clicks and the standby light turns red. I can click the power button and the light turns blue and then gives the four blinks on the PSB. Does anyone have any experience with this issue that they care to share with a currently dejected tv repair hobbyist?

    Re: insignia NS-PDP50HD-09 four blinks

I bought the four blink error code fix from coppel tv repair. After installing it, I now get a three blink(vg circuit). I've traced the circuit back to the transformer and everything seems fine except for a couple of diodes that are reading .125 volts in circuit. The diodes in the old board read .266. Any idea what would cause this difference?

Insignia NS-LCD-19-09: 5 blinks on power up
      by valvashon
I'm needing some smaller OTA TV's for a monitoring project and this Insignia was $20 through FB Marketplace. It gives 5 blinks of the red LED when plugged in and 6 or 7, depending on how you want to count it, when powering down with the switch.

Initial research points to a power supply issue but the two rails check to 5.06 volts and 12.22 volts. All electrolytics in power supply board checked to within 5% of the rated value. Some were high, some were low as checked with a super cheap off-brand cap checker that seems to be accurate. Can get pics and values tomorrow if anybody wants...

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
      by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

Un50cu7000 2 blink oddity *partially solved
      by EazyBone
I write this to maybe help another with this TV.

So I aquired this TV a 2023 model. It started the 2 blink reboot problem which indicates bad panel. It was still under warranty and the repair man came by.

The Samsung repairman brought a brand new panel and switched my original boards to the new panel. The new panel then had the 2 blink error code. The repair guy said he has seen this and the MAIN board on this model will cause the 2 blink. He then replaced the main/power board (they are both connected) and put it back onto my original panel. Voila it worked.

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)
      by Nairolf
      Hello,

      I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
      1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
      2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
      3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

panasonic TX-P50V10E 6 blink led problem
      by Vebririon
      Hi everyone,

I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.

I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report...
