Ln40a500t1f video issue and possibly sound?

Ln40a500t1f when i first turned this tv on it seemed to do nothing then i took it apart and apon pressing on the t-con i got this screen.
however when i turn on the tv it didnt jingle either, i dont know if samsung always had the jingle or what. its a 2007 anyone know whats could be the problem here?

No all SAMSUNG has chime, some of them can also be turn off.
That big blotch on the screen looks like bad panel, but try having one white flat cable connected on at a time to see what you will get on the screen. Right now it looks like bad panel to me.

i think that white blotch you see is just condensation from sitting outside but ill try that thanks again

If the condensation is that bad and it gets into the screen laminated/diffuser sheets, the the moisture may have cause damage to the connection on the circuit board where tab bondings are.

ill keep that in mind for sure, i only noticed that the picture would only change if i was messing with the tcon however but ill definitely keep that in mind
