Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my Sony KDS-R60XBR2 SXRD Projection TV. When I power it on, I'm getting 5 flashing red LED's at the power indicator on the front panel. Recently there was a popping noise from the TV and 3 flashing red LED's. The lamp was replaced and upon powering it on, the 5 flashing LED's appeared. I removed the rear panel to get an idea what was happening upon powering it up and I observed that the 2 rear fans do go on and spin freely for a few seconds, then they lose power and stop spinning. I read somewhere that the blinking LED's might indicate that a fan locked up, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Any idea what the 5 blinking red LED's means?? Thanks for your help and any suggestions.

Hi have problem with 4 reds blink take lot help that forum and tell me change led strips and all going very good tv alive now but in down left have pink tint little and see only in white pages what wrong doing? -

my tv almost 2 years not powerd on and when i turned it on nothing happened and only 3 red light keeps blinking
i opened the back cover no sign of damage on the powery suply or motherboard
when i plug in the power i hear the reley sound like tik first and another tik..after that only red keep blinking..
another thing is even after i unplugged the power, The tv keeps red blinking 3 times for 2 almost 2 munites -
I was asked to look at a Sony KD-55X8509C as it was not powering on, no lights.
On inspection, there was no physical issues.
I seated all cables and repowered the TV, then the LED light flashed Green / Amber.
- this seems to indicate repairing required, done by Firmware update.
so downloaded the latest Firmware from Sony website and wrote to 4Gb USB drive.
Inserted the drive and repowered the TV.
LED changed to white flashing/pulsing ... and it sat there for over an hour.
i was unsure what was happening so repowered the TV and now it just... -

Have KDL-55HX850 that seems to have been hit by power surge.
Blinking red 3x - clicks on/off on the power supply board when power is held in.
Replaced Power Supply G board - same response.
Replaced main BAP - no response at all. Seems worse, maybe bad board.
Replaced main BAP with a 2nd board - back to blinking 3x similar to original.
Checked speaker impedances ok 8ohms each.
Where are JL6002, JL6005 test points?
Ideas for what next to troubleshoot?
Could it be T-Conn or LED board? Seems that the troubleshooting...
