sorry selldoor what im saying is it sometimes switches off intermittently so i was only trying to see if it was a heat issue problem etc

        Re: Samsung le37b553

There is an issue with some zener diodes on this set causing intermittent power off. Run it for a few hours I guess, then when (if?) it goes wrong, check the power supply voltages.

One of the worst sorts of problem. Needs a good dust. I wouldnt have thought it was the screen or the inverter. If the power stays on when it goes into fail state what do the voltages do including the one on the big cap anything vary in time with the led flash and the restart?

Ok strangely enough I just removed the board to inspect for any cold solder joints most of the screws where loose which holds the board on,but I leave it running until it cuts out

Do you have a variac? I have had some TVs where low mains voltage (within tolerance, but slightly low, e.g. 220V) caused issues.

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
                      by Asraf Atb
                      Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

Compatibility of main boards between different variations of samsung MU6100
                      by JSin21
                      Hoping someone here could possibly help. I have a few questions in regards to compatibility with main boards. But I'll give a quick short run down on what's going on first;

I have Samsung Smart TV UA65MU6100WXXY version DA01

Now years ago it started intermittently playing up after a lighting strike. Lighting hit the block of units i was living in at the time. Ever since that night the TV started having a mind of its own, It would randomly turn itself off or on, and all inputs stopped responding like HDMI, aerial, but USB still worked. Anyway, over the next few months...

Samsung HG75EJ690UB Hotel TV, change main?
                      by elpatxi_bcn
                      Hello!

I just got a Samsung TV model HG75EJ690UB 75" and 4K. It is a hotel TV, with a slightly different version of the Tizen operating system than the TVs at home.
Being a hotel, it is covered in many functions. With the service menu I can unlock some, but not others. For example, I can't install apps like Netflix etc...
The fact is that it seems that I can replace the main by a, say, "normal". I think the one that corresponds is NU7105, ref BN94-02635. At work, which is a convention center and a hotel, I have many TVs from 55" to 85" that...
