    Panasonic TX-P42S10B 14 blink error ?

    Hello all I am currently working on this 42" plasma that has 14 blink error code, unfortunately I cant find a lead on anything obviously faulty on any of the boards and theres not much online to show me where to test either, just wandering what could cause this error I am thinking the sc becase when I remove it the error chages to 6 blinks but I could do with some help thanks in advance.

        From the service manual, 14 blinks means Audio PWM SOS. So you possibly have a fault on the A board. Check the voltages at the outputs of all the regulators on the A board

            Right found that there is a dead short over the whole audio section but I can find whats causing it, is there anyway I can isolate the whole audio section if so how ?

              Tbh I think its best to replace the whole board will lose me £50 profit but still breaking even, this seems to be a common issue on this model.

                Where exactly in the audio section are you measuring the shorts?

                  More than likely you got broken HDMI chip an the main AV board AD740 or similar.

                    Replaced the main board as the issue was far to complex, tv comes and works like a champ thanks for the help
