Check the T-CON board and see if it is getting power. If not it could be the MOSFET on the Main Board that switches power to the T-CON.
This negative pic is most times caused by a T-CON failure.
Can you post a picture of something simpler on the screen without the OSD even if the colours were reversed I couldnt tell what it is. Post using manage attachments not off site
Can you find a factory reset in the menu.
Check the lvds cable.
If it has video out how does it show on a monitor.
I had a LG with the same exact negative picture issue. it ended up being a firmware setting in the service menu, it was doing this because the panel type was set to JEIDA instead of VESA.
he never gave up the hex code and the thread declined into mistaken racism over the OP's nickname. I sent him an email translated into German maybe he'll reply back.
Another way you could fix it is to find someone with the same model TV and have them relay their hex codes to you.
If your problem not correct colors, then can you fix this with folloeing steps:
1. TV switch on.
2. press Mute-key on telepilot (Symbol speker will on the screen)
3. press now on tv-panel the menue-key + the mute-key for 6 to 10 secunds together.
On screen will be now the Info "S" vor service-mode.
4. Use now up/down on your telepilot, as on screen will be "Modell"
5. if on screen "Modell" present, press on telepilot the +key for audio up, as on the screen is the HEX-Code (02H for 40LV 655P),[ 01H for 32LV655P.
6. press together on telepilot the "Info-Taste + on the TV-Panel the key "Audio +".
7. Then switch off the TV and start new.
The Problem with the missing colors will be clean.
If you have a other problem, for example switch of/on, may be help to change the capazität "C 1124" from 8pF to 5,6 pF. I'am not sure, to clean the releis-klicking with this, but i think, this modell has a problem with timing to read the eeprom "IC 101". In most times you can with hot aer on this areal reproduce the switch on/off effects.
sorry for my translation in a not correctly english, but i hope you can understand und i can help you
Nice work AFajitas, would be nice if EVERYONE here were as helpful as you are, instead of just posting critical non-helpful snide little remarks, good work.
Thanks. I'm still really inexperienced at electrical repair work but I'm good at solving problems in general. I'm going to need a lot of help and hand holding, so trying to give as much back as I can.
