    LG 50PJ350 Mal Discharge

Hi there guys, I've got an LG 50pj350 here with what looks like rather bad Mal discharge. Tv was working fine the night before, when turned on the next day the screen flickers bright white at start up then turns on as normal however there seems to bed severe mal discharge (sparkles everywhere).

I read a thread here where someone had the same issue which was solved by replacing the Zsus board so I decided to wing it and replace the zsus however the issue remains. I've tested voltage test points on the power supply, ysus and zsus boards and all appear to read correctly (Va: 60v; Vs:208v; VSC:198v; vy:135v; VZB:100v). Unsure how to proceed from here, assuming something is wrong with YSUS board? However I don't know how to confirm this and they are rather pricey at about $125USD, there are repair kits available but they don't list which components are included.

    Thanks in Advance.

I have a complete boardset for this model gathering dust from broken panel.

Hard to say whether you may have bad buffers or there have been some LGs reported here with cracked solder on some of the inductor coils on the ysus (I think). Just not sure if this model or not.

Pictures? Not greatly familiar with the LGs.

Hey mate, just took a few quick pictures, let me know if there's something in particular you need photos of. On the plus side I've managed to find a replacement board for about $40pp if it comes down to replacing it.

Hoping for a pic of the actual fault. looks ok in the only shot of the screen. Yeah $40 is a good price although rare to find much here for sale.
