    eax61319402 50PJ350 YSUS

    Hi
    Had shorted YSUS

    Q24 RPJ63F3
    C726 cap
    Q11 K3667
    R528 & R529 2.2 ohm

replaced all of these but still trips psu VS & VA are a bit low when ysus disconnected. IC301 does look a bit burnt however

ZSUS is also good as far as I can tell

Anyone could help me out on this one

Good practice is to have the y-buffer boards unhooked, til y-sus is in order, because a faulty y-sus will take out a good y-buffer and vice versa, also take y-buffers out and check for shorts, lots of how to videos on youtube if needed.

I hear you, it makes it so damn much harder, when it's hard find the components anymore and there's so many lowlifes selling counterfeit parts that don't work at all.

The 6x 30F124 I got show as a capacitor in my TC1 tester!
I also got some 30J127 which show as an IGBT fine.
              Only 2 of 6 RPJ63F3 tested good & did show a 700v insulation test.

Really some suppliers do not care

For the 30F series, buy used z-sus boards for samsung/lg plasmas, for me it is actually cheaper than buying individual units that may or may not be fake, they are also a reliable supply of 30F131, FGD4536 and SF10A400HD(depending on the model of course), I spent around 80 USD to get 30+ original IGBTs.

The faker ones are very easily spotted when the labels and marks on the casing just don't match.

                  Giving up on this one
                  Q502 & Q503 also dead
                  Keeps blowing Q22 & Q11
                  Buffer & ZSUS are good

We had lightning recently & the customer has lied
I do not have much experience in plasmas but have successfully repaired others

LG 42PC3 buffer output doesn't follow YSUS
                    by legg
LG42PC3D -UD originally with green lamp but no display or audio.
Owner says was working, then went 'pop'.
                    All 5V caps bulging. replaced.
All PSU output voltages within spec but -Vy is low on YSUS.
One of three parallel fets between SUS_OUT and SUS_DN is zenering,
eventually shorts DG. Replaced all 3 - -Vy now OK.

Y scan buffer test point does not follow YSUS output below -50V

Note: This unit seems to expect YSUS output to park at -Vy in between
drive signal pattern periods. A replacement drive signal board confirms this....

Help repair this relic? Philips 42PF7220A/37, pulsing buzz from YSUS
                    by Truncatedhose
                    Greetings all!

Originally this set had the usual messed up video symptoms such as: horizontal lines, weak, grainy video, bottom and top of picture differ in intensity of problem. It also seemed to slow to turn on or show the messed up picture.

Seemed like must be YScan/buffer board failure. Ordered buffer boards from my distributor which were supposed to be original/new and also from another distributor, I ordered the YSUS because I wanted to replace it for preventative maintenance. (also, the YSUS had a bulged cap, so there was even more reason to suspect it could...

                    LG 60PH6608 YSUS repair
                    by maces
                    Hello all,

I have a problem with my LG 60PH6608. The TV is only clicking and doesn't get started.
I checked the power supply and measured that the 200V is shorted at the YSUS board.
All IGBTs, the MOSFET K8A60DA and the diode D603 are shorten.
So I replaced the parts. I checked the further parts for shorts and I was pretty sure that there is no further problem on the board.
So I plugged it in. Directly, resistor R251 (2,2 Ohm) blowed out with a little spark. Immediately I disconnected the TV from supply.
I checked the replaced parts (IGBTs, MOSFET...

LG 60PB6650 - Bad ZSUS (3.8v to YSUS instead of 16v)?
                    by JDC
                    Make and Model: LG 60PB6650-UA
Issue: Turns on, no backlight, can hear static (no channel)

I've been repairing TVs for a couple years now. I know how to use a multimeter for the most part and know how to test most components for shorts.

The power board connects to the ZSUS and then connects to the YSUS. The ZSUS is where I believe the failure is because the 16v line is only 3.8V, even when I disconnect the ZSUS from the YSUS.

This particular model seems to have a common failure with its YSUS. My goal earlier was to prove the YSUS was bad so I could...
